TAYLA EDMUNDS

(she/her)
Arts Therapist (AThR). Multi Media Artist.
Tēnā koe,
I’m Tayla, a registered Arts Therapist (AThR) and Counsellor, working in rural Otago for a local organisation and in private practice based in Dunedin. I have experience working with people of all ages in a variety of settings, including general practice, children’s counselling, and hospice counselling.
I work in a trauma-informed and person-centred way. I blend arts therapy and talk therapies, allowing me to be flexible and adapt to working in ways that suit the person I am working with. I believe in working collaboratively, drawing on strengths and resources to support growth and meaningful change.
I committed to upholding and honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
My specialties are working with grief, loss, trauma, neurodivergence and LGBTQIA+ communities.
